Brake failure Kia Ceed LX edition (2013)
My Kia Ceed 1.4 LX Edition is relatively new (July 2013) and has only 36,000 km away. Last month, the braking system was not working.
The brake pedal stuck and I could not push no matter how hard I tried. After pressing the brake ABS kicks and managed to stop the car.
The second time it happened I was driving in heavy traffic around 40 km / h, and crashed into the column of public lighting.
Fortunately no one was hurt, but the car was damaged. After the accident I rebooted the machine and the brake pedal worked normally.
The mechanical engineer (expert public) and the mechanic checked the system and found only a computer error that indicates the strength error G (because of the flat tire after the incident), also explained the electronic brake system restarts after you press them twice or restart the car. Both could not find the source of the locked brake pedal problem.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Do you know what could be the problem and how to solve it?
I'm afraid it could happen again at a higher speed.
